I'm Waiting...

Free Scripture Tags by Edie at Rich Gifts Graphics & Blog Design

Yesterday, I came across a new site entitled, Rich Gifts Graphics and Blog Designs. The above graphic spoke to a place deep within my heart...

I went back to it a couple of times, re-read it...and then moved on...

Today, Dr. Randy Peck referred me to this site ~ Team Destiny.

1st thing I read that pierced my heart:

Accountability is the PASSWORD to your future!!!!!

As I continued to read, my heart continued to stir...I began to read with anticipation.

You see, God has had me in the process of decluttering my life for quite some time now; letting go of things (both physically and spiritually) that have distracted my time, energy and focus.

God also showed me a couple years ago that I needed an accountability partner for my spiritual walk. It was then, that I began to see growth in the stubborn, sinful areas of my life that were holding me back from walking in victory with Jesus!

2nd thing I read that made me pay attention:

Vision always precedes ProVISION!

I had to read that statement a couple of times to let it REALLY sink in and to understand the depth of that simple, but yet powerful statement.

It might help if you read it like this: Vision always precedes provision.

ah -ha!!! :)

That got me thinking about vision (where I am, where I want to go in life) AND (where God has me and where He wants to take me in life) ...there is a difference...

And then I was thinking about God's provision and His faithfulness to meet all my needs...is my vision lining up with God's Vision for my life? Or have I got distracted in pursuing my wants and needs...forgetting about God's Destiny for me and my life?

Hmmmmm...I continued reading...

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets” (Hab 2:2)

And then I knew...it's time for me to seek God for His Vision for my life; and that it's time to write it all down...once it's written down, the PROvision will come.

I finished my reading with this piece of Scripture:

Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. ~ Habakkuk 2:2-3

Now I know what I'm going to use my new journal for...God's Vision for my life. The journal was a special gift that I received at CHRISTmas from my siesta sister...it's gorgeous! And do you know what the Scripture verse on the front of the journal says?

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His Word I put my HOPE!
~ Psalm 130:5

Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That (s)he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

Wow! "That (s)he may run who reads it"

I believe that I have been walking with Jesus.
But, I believe that the Lord is now preparing me to run...

During this time of waiting, God will release the vision for my destiny. And once the vision is written, the PROvision will be provided; and with accountablity, I can run (not walk) the race that is set out before me.

I'm anxious to see what God will reveal to me during this time!
