The Power of Twitter!

Tonight, on twitter, I noticed many profile pics donned with santa hats, all in the spirit of Christmas!

And thanx to my new friend @JaimieH on twitter, I am now celebrating Christmas with a new set of wings!

What's really neat though... is what transpired throughout the evening...

A close friend of mine, @rhondawarren suggested that Jaimie should have accepted donations in honor of a charity. Jaimie gave it some thought and decided to run with it - why not?

It is Christmas, after all!

Diabetes has affected Jaimie's life since the age of 21.

Did you know that there are 23.6 million children and adults in the United States (7.8% of the population) who have diabetes? What's even more unfortunate is that approx. 5.7 million people that are unaware that they even have the disease. Find out more information from the American Diabetes Assoc. So..in honor of Jamie and her generous heart to give to others this Christmas; let's all give to this worthy cause!
