Today was amazing! I always love Sundays! Today was especially exciting because I was back to church for the first time since surgery!
The kids and I were able to attend our church service in the morning, as well as a potluck dinner with our church family. I was especially thrilled because my husband decided to join us!
After the potluck, our children spent the afternoon with Pastor, his wife and their family. Allan and I enjoyed spending an afternoon together. The Christmas shopping list is almost complete - and December is just beginning.
After a quick, refreshing break, Allan dropped me off to attend Pastor's surprise 40th birthday party; and then he and the kids went to do some Christmas shopping on their own.
It was a JAM-packed day!
P.S. - There's SO MUCH MORE I need to update you on; it's amazing! So bear with me...lots of neat things happening since my surgery! Praise God!

Hi there! Nice to "see" you here at your blog. I was glad to see you over at Getting Down With Jesus. Now, I'm glad to read that despite a recent surgery, you were able to make it to church and enjoy fellowship with family and friends. And oh, a potluck -- one of my favorite of all church traditions! We have them every so often in our little country church, but if you ask me, it's not nearly often enough. I thoroughly enjoy those times of fellowship. ...
